Graduated as a qualified teacher (with Commendation) from St Joseph's and St Mary's College (Queen's University Belfast) in Business Studies and Maths.

Awarded the College's top prize,
the Vere Foster Gold Medal
(one of only three in Northern Ireland)
– best overall student in 1981.

1988

Graduated from St Patrick's College, Maynooth (NUI) with a 2:1 (Hons) degree in Geography, Sociology, Philosophy, Greek & Roman Civilizations.

The Geography Department at Maynooth College published my undergraduate
thesis (a comparative epidemiological study) as an "occasional paper" in 1988.

1994

Awarded a Certificate in Counselling (Skills and Theory) by CSCT / Associated Examining Board.

2002

Awarded a Diploma in Internet
for Business & Web Design by
the London College of Business
and Computing.
